Captain America is back, and he's looking moody near a massive S.H.I.E.L.D. logo and a bunch of rigging. It can only mean... Captain America: The Winter Soldier has started shooting in Los Angeles. Well, that and Cap' has got lost somewhere on set.

Picking up where The Avengers finished, **Captain America: The Winter Soldier **sees Steve Rogers arm-wrestling modernity as he teams up with fellow buttock-prodder Black Widow to battle someone from his past in present-day Washington, D.C.

That someone is Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), his best bud from back in the day, a man who Cap' thought was dead, but through the power-of-something-yet-to-be-revealed comes back to life after being brainwashed by the enemy. Joining The Star-Spangled Man With The Plan (and Natasha Romanoff) are Anthony Mackie as the ever-so-feathered Sam Wilson/Falcon, Frank Grillo as the gun-friendly Brock Rumlow/Crossbones and Georges St-Pierre as the springy Georges Batroc (a.k.a. Baltroc The Leaper).

Then there's confirmation from Marvel that Hayley Atwell will be returning as Peggy Carter - presumably in a flashback, and contrary to what she herself has said - as will Toby Jones' Arnim Zola - again, presumably in a flashback. We'll also see Emily VanCamp as Agent 13 (a.k.a. Sharon Carter, a relative of Peggy's), Maximiliano Hernández as Agent Jasper Sitwell and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill. Oh, and some Robert Redford guy will play Agent Alexander Pierce, a senior leader within S.H.I.E.L.D.

In the directors' chair(s) are You, Me And Dupree's Anthony and Joe Russo, and the release date is currently set for April 4, 2014. Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely return from the original Cap outing as screenwriters, so here's hoping there'll be another neat musical number at some point...
