Brian White has become the latest actor to be lured to Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard’s The Cabin In The Woods.

The Stomp The Yard star has signed on to play a character called Truman in the horror, about which is little known, save that a cabin in the woods plays some part. Don't ask us how we worked that one out.

White joins an intriguing cast headlined by Richard Jenkins, and The West Wing’s Bradley Whitford. He joins the five young actors who were announced last week, including Kristen Connolly, Chris Hemsworth, Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz and Jesse Williams. Whedon writes/produces, Goddard writes/directs, and that’s all the news that they’ve seen fit to give us to print. But we’re keeping several flying eyeballs on this one, rest assured.

It’s been a good weekend for the 33 year-old White – as well as the Cabin fever, he’s signed on to star in the next Tyler Perry movie, I Can Do Bad All By Myself. He’ll play a potential love interest for Oscar nominee Taraji P. Henson in the movie, based on one of Perry’s early plays. Mary J. Blige has also been cast in the movie, which starts filming this summer in Atlanta.
