Though there have been a lot of eyes on Netflix’s returning shows such as House Of Cards and Orange Is The New Black, plus the offerings from Marvel including Daredevil and A.K.A. Jessica Jones, the streaming service also has another original series set to debut next month, with Kyle Chandler headlining family drama Bloodline. The full trailer for the series is online and demands your eyeballs’ attention below.
Bloodline finds Chandler as John Rayburn, part of the wealthy, contemporary Rayburn family that owns property in the Florida Keys. All seems to be well among them until eldest son Danny (Ben Mendelsohn) returns home and starts to reveal some of the darker secrets the clan has kept buried for years. Soon the family is tearing itself apart as skeletons come rattling out of the closet.
It’s perhaps not surprising that there’s drama afoot given that this comes from Glenn Kessler, Todd A. Kessler and Daniel Zelman, the creators of Damages, and boasts a fantastic cast including Linda Cardellini, Sam Shepard, Sissy Spacek, Norbert Leo Butz, Jamie McShane, Jacinda Barrett, Enrique Murciano, Chloe Sevigny and Steven Pasquale. Bloodline will surface on March 20.
