Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends Review

Abysmal film spin-offs can’t diminish the witty charm of Jay Ward’s satirical animated series starring the plucky flying squirrel and the goofy moose. There’s cliffhanging Cold War antics with no-goodniks Boris and Natasha, nitwit mounty Dudley Do-right and time-travelling dog Mr. Peabody’s Improbable History.

While an endearing cultural artefact for Baby Boomers who remember the catchphrases (“Fan mail from some flounder?”), it’s still relentlessly silly fun for the younger set.
