Marion and Geoff: Series 2 Review

Marion and Geoff: Series 2

Considering neither Marion nor Geoff appears in Rob Brydon’s series of droll monologues, a better title might be The Eternal Optimism Of The Gormless Kind, as cabbie Keith makes light of his miserable lot in life and sees nothing but good in the horrible lot he drives around for a living. It’s not all bad news, however — Keith has been bumped up to private chauffeur, and the ten-minute episodes now run for half an hour.

Thirty minutes is a stretch for the talking-to-camera-in-car concept, but Brydon is always wry and winning.
