The X-Files' first, only and short-lived spin-off about a trio of computer-hacking conspiracy geeks suffered from bad timing, emerging as
it did when the once-trailblazing adventures of Mulder and Scully had deteriorated into Gillian Anderson: The Contractual Obligation Years and the signature element of conspiracy theories had become its lamest element. That said, these 13 episodes, while uneven at first, were blessed with similarly excellent production values as well as the enjoyably quirky wit generated by the core trio. For X-philes, at least, its an interesting curio.
