Once the rubbish pilot is out of the way, Josh The OC Schwartzs glossy new drama is a sparky pleasure. Spilling the goss on a privileged circle of NY teens with the help of texts and blogs from the omniscient, anonymous Gossip Girl (voiced by Veronica Mars Kristen Bell), its trashy and scathing, but with enough heart to counterbalance the rich-kid partying. Treasure the second-half sight of Michelle Trachtenberg all growed up since her time as Dawn on Buffy, and, while the characters arent as immediately lovable as The OCs, theres still enough designer intrigue and relationship angst for this to spice up the schedules.
