Prison Break: Season 3 Review

Prison Break: Season 3

Be honest, you’ve always known that Prison Break is hammy nonsense. Amusingly over-the-top characters and an undeniably compelling set-up made the show compulsive viewing, but it’s a guilty pleasure. After a season on the run, year three marks a welcome return to the big house - because it’s no fun having a jailbreak show set outside prison. Wentworth Miller and friends are incarcerated this time in a Panamanian hole called Sona that, while undeniably hellish, fails to recapture the institutional foreboding of Fox River. By this point the plot has dipped from daft to downright hilarious and while there’s still fun to be had, any semblance of story has long since flown the coop.
