Hello, you. If you’re a fan of Netflix’s You, then have we got some good news for, well, you. Ahead of the third season premiering on Friday 15 October, the streaming service announced that it has already renewed the stylish, soapy serial killer show for a fourth run of episodes. Netflix announced the news with a compilation video, reminding us just how much Penn Badgley’s Joe Goldberg would do “for you” – check it out below.

Based on the series of books by Caroline Kepnes and developed for Netflix by Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble, You first launched on the platform back in 2018. The third series, which drops later this week, sees Joe and partner Love (Victoria Pedretti) move to the miserable suburb of Madre Linda after the birth of their new baby boy. But, from what we’ve seen in the trailer, it doesn’t look as though the fresh start of family life quite goes to plan.

“Reading Caroline’s novel, Greg and I were instantly obsessed with Joe Goldberg and his twisted world view, and it’s been thrilling to watch Penn bring Joe to creepy yet compelling life,” said co-creator Gamble in a statement, via Variety. “We’re deeply grateful that Netflix has shown You such monumental support, and that people around the world have enjoyed watching Joe really get it all very wrong over the past three seasons. The whole You team is excited to explore new, dark facets of love in Season 4.”
