Does just two of the cast showing up for a new project trigger the Anchorman reunion klaxon? We'll allow it for miniseries The Shrink Next Door, which boasts a re-teaming of Paul Rudd and Will Ferrell and kicks off later this year on Apple TV+. See the first teaser...
The dark comedy is inspired by true events and boasts a script by Veep and Avenue 5 alumnus Georgia Pritchett. The series explores how a seemingly normal doctor-patient dynamic morphs into an exploitative relationship filled with manipulation, power grabs, and dysfunction at its finest...
Kathryn Hahn (who also appears in Anchorman, so sound that klaxon for sure) Casey Wilson and Sarayu Blue also feature, and the show will kick off on 12 November with the first three episodes, and new instalments follow each Friday, for a total of eight episodes.
