Westworld Season 1 Episode 1

Though Team Westworld has famously been as tight-lipped as possible about upcoming plot developments, we do know one significant element for Season 4: the return of James Marsden.

The cast and creators, talking up the new season at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, broke the news by having Marsden make a surprise appearance at their panel.

Marsden played the frequently ill-fated Teddy Flood in the show's first two seasons (seriously, this character died almost as often as South Park's Kenny), starring in Season 1 and recurring in the second.

Little else was given away at the panel, which featured the likes of co-creator/show-runner Lisa Joy and stars Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, Luke Hemsworth, Angela Sarafyan and Aurora Perrineau. We did learn that Wood, whose Delores perished in the third season, will be back as a new character. Perrineau, who is new this year, won praise from her boss for not revealing a thing about her character.

Wood, Wright, Hemsworth, Sarafyan all star alongside Thandiwe Newton, Ed Harris, Tessa Thompson and Aaron Paul. Alongside Perrineau, the new cast this year includes Ariana DeBose and Daniel Wu.
