We've known for a couple of years that comedy terrors collectively known as The Kids In The Hall would be back with a new series thanks to Amazon, which has an eight-episode return planned for the team. Now we have a meta-tastic first trailer for the series.

For the benefit of those who need the education, the troupe comprises Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney and Scott Thompson, who created and starred in the series, which ran from 1989 to 1995.

While the gang has reunited for comedy tours and 2010 mystery miniseries Death Comes To Town, they've not performed on screen as the Kids in the years since their show went off the air. So this new run, which promises some classic characters and new sketches, is certainly exciting.

And they've got a raft of guest stars for the new show, including Paul Bellini, Pete Davidson, Catherine O’Hara, Kenan Thompson, Brandon Ash-Mohammed, Will Forte, Catherine Reitman, Samantha Bee, Fred Armisen, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Jay Baruchel, Eddie Izzard, Tracee Ellis Ross, Mark Hamill, and Colin Mochrie.

The show will land on 13 May on Prime Video.
