We're still waiting for The Boys to return to TV screens in all their chaotic glory, but there's good news for fans of the show, as the Vought universe is expanding even further with an animated version called Diabolical.
The anthology series comes from the twisted minds behind the show, including showrunner Eric Kripke. But he's assembled a group of creators to write episodes, with eight initially promised. The writers include original comic creator Garth Ennis, Awkwafina, Eliot Glazer and Ilana Glazer, Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen, Simon Racioppa, Rick & Morty's Justin Roiland and Ben Bayouth, Andy Samberg and Aisha Tyler.
"Surprise! We’re almost finished with eight episodes of our animated series, Diabolical," says Kripke. "We gathered together some incredible creators and we gave them one rule … just kidding, there’s no rules. They blew the doors off it, delivering eight completely unexpected, funny, shocking, gory, moist, emotional episodes. You think The Boys is nuts? Wait till you see this."
Wait we shall, though, as there's no set date for the premiere yet. But the series was announced by star Karl Urban in a new video, which you can find below. That's two spin-offs and counting, then...
