Stranger Things Animated Spin-Off In The Works

It can be hard to let go of a good, successful thing and Netflix is in no hurry to give up on Stranger Things even as Season 5 is planned as the final run for the main show. We have a prequel story play headed to London stages this year and plenty of talk of potential spin-offs. One is closer than any of the others, as the streaming service has ordered an animated series based on the hit show.

Zero story details have escaped the Upside Down about this one, save for the fact that it'll be set in the world of the show. Behind the scenes, it has the backing of series creators the Duffer Brothers and has been developed by Eric Robles and Flying Bark Productions. Robles has previously created the animated shows Random! Cartoons, Fanboy & Chum Chum, and Glitch Techs.
