Ahoy there, me hearties! With only a week to go now until its launch on Disney+, our anticipation for Jon Watts' new Star Wars series Skeleton Crew is just about reaching fever pitch — we can hardly wait. Thankfully then, yesterday brought with it an exciting bit of news for fans who've been patiently awaiting their next trip to that galaxy far, far away ever since The Acolyte ended back in July. As per the official Star Wars account on X, the Jude Law starring new show has brought forward its two-episode premiere date, and will now land on Disney+ UK at 2am on 3 December as opposed to the 4th. And, what's more, we now know exactly who'll be helming each episode of the series. Check out the director roll call below:

As you can see from the above, MCU Spider-Man maestro Jon Watts himself will be seeing the series through take-off and landing, with David Lowery (The Green Knight, Peter Pan & Wendy) set to direct a brace of episodes early in the season as the show's central quartet of misfit space-kids encounter ne'er-do-wells, tentacled creatures, and an enigmatic, Jude Law shaped Force-user whilst trying to find their way home. Elsewhere, Everything Everywhere All At Once Oscar winners The Daniels and Thunderbolts* helmsman Jake Schreier are aboard to tackle the mid-season, while The Mandalorian directing alum Bryce Dallas Howard and Lee Isaac Chung are charged with teeing up Skeleton Crew's mid-January finale. All of which is to say, Watts has assembled a real who's who of hot-right-now filmmakers to bring his cosmic joyride to life.

With the series now set to land a day earlier than originally planned, *that* line-up of directors, and the trailers so far promising that we're about to become fast friends with ragtag bunch Wim (Ravi Cabot-Conyers), Fern (Ryan Kiera Armstrong), KB (Kyriana Kratter), and the very Ortolan looking Neel (Robert Timothy Smith), Skeleton Crew is shaping up to be quite the adventure — we feel it in our bones! And we'll see it with our eyes when the new Star Wars series' first two episodes arrive on Disney+ on 3 December in the UK, and 2 December for those of you on the other side of the pond. Avast!
