For years, one of the most popular shows on Netflix remained the US version of The Office – totally beloved and infinitely rewatchable thanks to its loveable ensemble cast, and a killer lead turn from Steve Carell as regional paper company boss Michael Scott. But the problem is that Netflix didn’t actually own The Office, and the show ended up leaving the service. Now it has a new show that surely hopes to draw back plenty of Office fans: Space Force. It’s a new workplace comedy from showrunner Greg Daniels, once again starring Carell (who also co-created the series).

Netflix has just shared a bunch of brand new images from the show, including the first look at Carell’s General Mark R. Naird. Also in the pics are Ben Schwartz’s character F. Tony Scarapiducci, and John Malkovich’s Dr. Adrian Mallory. Not only that, but the pics confirm an additional piece of previously-unannounced casting: Lisa Kudrow is in the show too, playing the wife of General Naird.

As well as revealing those pics, Netflix has confirmed that Space Force is coming to the service on 29 May – fingers crossed it can live up to the genius of Daniels and Carell’s other collaboration.
