You might think that Guillermo del Toro and the team making his new Netflix anthology horror series might have enough actors by now, with a solid cast already in place. Yet he's still adding people, selecting Harry Potter veteran and current Servant man Rupert Grint for the series.

Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet Of Curiosities sees the director overseeing (alongside regular producing partner J. Miles Dale) a series of anthology stories that, according to Netflix, is meant to challenge our traditional notions of horror. From macabre to magical, gothic to grotesque or classically creepy, the eight sinister tales — including two original works by del Toro — will be brought to life by a team of writers and directors personally chosen by the Shape Of Water filmmaker.

Among those writing and directing are Panos Cosmatos, Jennifer Kent, Catherine Hardwicke, Ana Lily Amirpour and Vincenzo Natali, while the episodic casts are laden down with names including Essie Davis, Luke Roberts, Andrew Lincoln, F. Murray Abraham, Glynn Turman, Ben Barnes, Elpidia Carrillo, Hannah Galway, Crispin Glover, Demetrius Grosse, David Hewlett, Tim Blake Nelson, Sebastian Roché and Peter Weller. This will be one to anticipate – there's no date for it to arrive on the books yet, but it could be on screens by later next year.
