We have a criminally good show for you on the Pilot TV Podcast this week — quite literally. It's a veritable crimeapalooza in the virtual pod booth on your essential guide to all things Peak TV as not only do we find ourselves delving into Ryan Murphy’s latest bowl of depravity in Travis Kelce starring FX crime drama Grotesquerie on Disney+, but with beloved co-pilot Kay Ribeiro still away on her meditation retreat (which, honestly, we can fully understand), we welcome Crime Monthly editor Steph Seelan onto the show. Taking full advantage of having an expert in our midst, we take the opportunity to delve into the world of British crime shows with Steph and get her professional take on the best of the bloody bunch.

Elsewhere, Steph joins James Dyer and Boyd Hilton to discuss, among other things, The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power's metal moment in its most recent episode (more on that with composer Bear McCreary here), James' 30,000 word oral history of The West Wing, and this week's biggest TV news. Among the headlines are new trailers for The Last Of Us Season 2 and Prime Video James Patterson adaptation Cross, developments on the RoboCop TV series front, and word of a new Bill Hader HBO comedy. Then, on the reviews front, we return to Pierpoint with Industry Series 3, which finally makes its way to BBC1 this week, and — bringing us back to crime once again — we catch up with the second series of crime drama Showtrial, which does likewise.

You can listen to this week's episode on your podcast app of choice, or watch it in glorious high definition on YouTube above. And if you want to subscribe to Pilot TV+, find all the details here.
