Get in, losers – we’re heading deep underground for Apple TV’s latest one-word-titled show beginning with an ’S’. This time, it’s Silo, this streamer’s 10-part adaptation of Hugh Howey’s Wool trilogy of novels. A new trailer for the show just dropped, hinting at more action, more mystery, and central character Juliette’s (Rebecca Ferguson) mission to find out just what lies outside of the bunker that houses the last ten thousand humans on the planet. Watch it here:

Ferguson’s Juliette is an engineer who wants answers about the death of a loved one, and ends up tumbling down a rabbit hole about just what the Silo is, how it started, and whether the outside world is quite as dangerous as she and the other residents are being led to believe.

Ferguson is also executive producer on the show, and is joined in the ensemble cast by David Oyelowo, Rashida Jones, Tim Robbins, Common, Harriet Walter and more. Graham Yost, whose previous work includes Band Of Brothers and Justified, is showrunner, and The Imitation Game’s Morten Tyldum directs the first three episodes.

The first two episodes of Silo arrive on Apple TV+ on 5 May, with the following eps dropping weekly after that.
