You: Season 3

Netflix’s favourite serial killer is back. After meeting his match in Love (Victoria Pedretti) in You Season 2, slick sociopath Joe (Penn Badgley) is back for more malicious murdering in the upcoming third season. And as the brand new trailer shows, he has a new ‘you’ to focus on this time around in the form of his baby son, as well as a new home to wreak havoc from, as the family move to the soulless suburb of Madre Linda to settle down. Take a look here.

Despite doing their best to be the nice new neighbours on the block, it looks like old habits die hard for the couple – and, around Joe and Love, people tend to die hard too. If that doesn’t sound like stable ground for a marriage, you’re right – it seems things get rocky fast, as they start attending therapy and Joe finds a new blonde, Natalie (The Vampire Diaries’ Michaela McManus), to stalk on social media. It’s not long before taped-up body bags start to appear. Returning alongside Badgley and Pedretti is Saffron Burrows as Love’s mother, Dottie, and new cast members include Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star Tati Gabrielle as librarian Marienne, and Dylan Arnold as college student Theo. The series is originally based on the novel by Caroline Kepnes and remains one of Netflix’s soapiest, most stylishly executed thrillers.

You Season 3 arrives in its entirety on Netflix on October 15th. Make sure to close your curtains, check your shower, and keep an eye out for creepy guys in hats. (Not just for You – that’s handy life advice all around.)
