Increasingly, creators and distributors are taking the Comic-Con ethos – special panels, celebrity guests, first-look trailers and early reels from TV shows movies – and taking it in-house. And now, alongside DC FanDome, Netflix is getting in on the act with TUDUM (named after that load-up noise the app makes every time you launch it), a digital ‘Global Fan Event’ taking place on 25 September. And like Comic-Con and FanDome, it’s promising early peeks at plenty of major upcoming Netflix shows and movies, with a considerable line-up confirmed to appear.

In the world of movies, there’ll be something fresh from upcoming Western The Harder They Fall, an update on the Millie Bobby Brown-centric Enola Holmes sequel, all-star blockbuster Red Notice (feat Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds), the follow-up to The Old Guard, Zack Snyder's zombie movie spin-off Army Of Thieves, Adam McKay’s Don’t Look Up, and more. As for the TV end of things, expect news and fresh footage from the new seasons of: The Witcher, Sex Education, Stranger Things, The Umbrella Academy, Ozark, Big Mouth, Money Heist (aka La Casa De Papel), Cobra Kai, The Crown, Bridgerton, and plenty more. Plus, there’ll be something from the much-anticipated upcoming live-action adaptations of Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman, and anime favourite Cowboy Bebop.

Phew. That’s one hell of a list – and on Netflix will surely hope will keep subscribers from straying to one of the myriad other services out there. No word yet on timings for all of these, but keep your eyes peeled on the streaming service on 25 September.
