The more imminent likes of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor might have dominated the time at the first big Star Wars Celebration panel, but there was also room for looking further into the future. Even if it is still a long time ago in a certain galaxy far, far away. Director Jon Watts, whose Spider-Man: Way Home smashed box office records, brought the first official details about his own Star Wars show, and confirmed (after rumours had spread) that Jude Law is in the cast.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, as the show is called, focuses on, according to Watts, "a group of kids who are about ten years old who get lost in the Star Wars universe," before adding, "It stars four kids but it’s not a kids show."

Intriguing! The youth angle isn't too shocking given his recent history with young heroes, but it'll be interesting to see another angle. And the show is set in the time period post-Return Of The Jedi, so roughly at the same time as the likes of The Mandalorian.

Talking of, we now know that The Mandalorian's Third season will kick off in February next year, followed by Ahsoka. Skeleton Crew does not, as of yet, have a confirmed release date.
