We've know that Netflix was working on a TV adaptation of Michael Connelly's Lincoln Lawyer series of novels (previously most notably brought to the screen starring Matthew McConaughey in the 2011 movie). Now we have the first images of stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Neve Campbell and Becki Newton, plus word of when the show's first season will drop on the streaming service.
With David E. Kelley (no stranger to legal dramas and comedies) as the executive producer and The Good Wife veteran Ted Humphrey running the show, the first season adapts the second book in the series, The Brass Verdict.

And for those unfamiliar with the concept, the series stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Mickey Haller, an iconoclastic idealist who runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln Town Car.
Mickey takes on cases big and small across the expansive city of Los Angeles and frequently runs afoul of the law. Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, Ntare Guma, Mbaho Mwine and Christopher Gorham are also in the cast for this one, which launches on Netflix on 13 May.
