As the cameras are now rolling on the sixth and final season of Better Call Saul, we're facing the reality that next year we'll have to say goodbye to the successful Breaking Bad prequel series. Yet all is not lost for Bob Odenkirk's Jimmy McGill, as US network AMC has announced an animated spin-off series based on his tricky con antics.

No details were offered about the potential show beyond the title (see the tweet from the Saul official account below), but we can guess that it could be a way to fill in some of the earlier days of McGill's schemes (which would make this a prequel to a prequel if that is truly the concept). Part of us is really hoping for more from Rhea Seehorn's Kim Wexler, even if it is in animated form.

Also in the announcement? Word that more of the Employee Training web videos are also headed our way. The shorts, which have featured the likes of Wexler and crime boss Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) explaining ideas such as ethics and the law, tend to be geo-locked to the US, but you can find an example here.
