In August something dropped out of the blue which sent the internet into a frenzy. It was a simple teaser trailer of a man, apparently in some sort of interrogation or interview, talking. That man was a bedraggled Skinny Pete talking about his old associate Jesse Pinkman. And with that, Netflix confirmed El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, a feature length follow-up to Breaking Bad.
El Camino will be available to stream on Netflix from the 11th October 2019 and will explore Jesse’s life after his escape from captivity. What with Vince Gilligan’s original show ending in 2013, it’s fair to say that viewers are going to need to brush up on the narrative specifics and re-familiarise themselves with the characters. And if you're already an expert, it’s just a darn good excuse to re-binge one if the best TV shows of all time.
