While earlier reports had Wes Anderson conjuring up a French musical as his next film, the reality has now been revealed to be very much the former, but without the musical element (so far, at least). Currently titled The French Dispatch, it'll feature Timothée Chalamet, Benicio Del Toro and Jeffrey Wright alongside some returning veterans.
With typical secrecy, Anderson has started work on the film, described as "a love letter to journalists" (thanks, Wes!) and set in the Parisian office of an American newspaper (kids, ask your parents). Three storylines will, according to Indiewire, weave their way around each other and in the 20th century.
The new trio join the returning likes of Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton and Anderson regular Bill Murray, and we can just picture the Parisian party-crashing going on there. Rumours pointed to the possible involvement of Natalie Portman, Brad Pitt and Léa Seydoux, but there has been no confirmation on any of them just yet.
