Sandra Bullock has been off our screens since 2015's Our Brand Is Crisis, but she's planning to change that. And now she has a new movie lined up, as she'll star in a new action thriller called Cash Truck.

Deadline is calling this one "inspired" by 2004 French film Le Convoyeur, and the film will see Bullock as an American woman called Alex who is desperate for money. Arriving in London, she lands a job at a London armoured car company, one that has recently been the target of a deadly heist.

Though the crew is already a close-knit unit, Alex works her way into their confidence, but none of them realise that she has her own agenda, one that could put them all in danger, especially when a dark secret from her past surfaces.

Josef Wladyka is in the director's chair for this one, which was written by Ethan Erwin, Albert Hughes and Trainspotting's John Hodge. Joel Silver is producing the movie, and it should start production this year.

Bullock will be back with Ocean's Eight, which will be out on 22 June next year.
