Heading back into the sort of territory that got his career cooking in the first place, Guy Ritchie has found the first three cast members for his new film, Toff Guys. Matthew McConaughey, Kate Beckinsale and Henry Golding will all star.

Ritchie wrote the script with Marn Davies and Ivan Atkinson, and he'll also produce a film that chronicles what happens when a very upright English drug lord attempts to cash out his profitable empire by selling it to a family of Oklahoma billionaires. We'd expect the usual collection of motley characters and, with any luck, a collection of new faces and some of his old friends showing up.

McConaughey, as you might be able to predict, will be one of the Oklahoma gang, but we don't yet know what Beckinsale or Golding will be up to.

There's no release date on the books for the film yet, but Ritchie's latest big-budget pic, the new live-action Aladdin, escapes its cine-lamp on 24 May next year. McConaughey will next show up in true-life tale White Boy Rick (out in the UK on 7 December), with Beckinsale set to star in miniseries The Widow and recently joining comedy pic El Tonto. Golding, hot off the success of Crazy Rich Asians, will reunite with his A Simple Favour director Paul Feig on Last Christmas.
