What do you do when the rivals settle their differences and – for the most part, at least – find a way to live amicably? That's the challenge for the sequel to 2015's Mark Wahlberg/Will Ferrell comedy Daddy's Home. The answer appears to me: more dad issues. See the new trailer and a new poster below.
This time, the problems comes from Kurt (Mel Gibson), Dusty's (Wahlberg) even tougher father, who has no time for the changes his son has gone through. Then there's Brad's (Ferrell) father (John Lithgow), a man who never met an emotion he didn't want to experience, and who seems to have a very close relationship with his son. As in a little too touchy-feely for everyone's taste.
Cue a lot of disagreements and, of course, Brad trying to measure up to the new manly competition, which never goes well. Directed once again by Sean Anders, and written by Anders and regular comedy partner John Morris, Daddy's Home 2 will be out on 22 November.
