As she continues to set up and produce projects she can star in, a definite trend towards crime is showing up in Margot Robbie's plans. Well, that and compelling female characters. She's now looking to play a bank robber in Dreamland.

Miles Joris-Peyrafitte, who directed Sundance Special Jury Prizewinner As You Are, is aboard to make the new thriller, written by Nicolaas Zwart. Dreamland is set in the 1930s as America's economy and its people suffers through the Dust Bowl. In an attempt to save his family farm from foreclosure, a 15-year-old boy sets out on a quest to capture a fugitive bank robber, with the hopes that the bounty on her head will help.

But though he manages to somehow beat the Federal and local authorities in finding her, he discovers that she's a lot more than reports have suggested.

This is just one of the movies that Robbie has been working on – she'll be seen in sports controversy drama I, Tonya, crime thriller Terminal, AA Milne biopic Goodbye Christopher Robin and, next year, the CG/live-action blend Peter Rabbit.
