Given his experiences on Non-Stop and now this latest thriller, we're beginning to think that Liam Neeson should just skip public transport altogether and spring for limos and special planes. Still he's a regular businessman offered a terrible deal in the new trailer for The Commuter.
Neeson here plays Michael Woolwich, a seemingly ordinary man who boards the same train to work every morning. But one particular day, he's approached by Vera Farmiga's Joanna, who offers an odd proposition: $75,000 sitting in the bathroom is his if he can identify who on the train doesn't belong. At first, he waves it away as a silly gamble but then the stakes start to rise.
And as the clock ticks and people begin dying, Michael realises that Joanna and the people she's working with might be much more dangerous than even he thought. If only he knew someone with some special skills...
Patrick Wilson, Sam Neill, Jonathan Banks and Elizabeth McGovern also feature in the film, which reunites Neeson with his regular collaborator, director Jaume Collet-Serra.
Despite what the poster above says (it's aimed at American audiences), the film will be out in the UK on 19 January.
