Commuting is stressful enough – you either face traffic, delayed trains or annoying people yammering away on their phone. But for Liam Neeson's insurance salesman, Michael Woolrich, things are about to get much more twisted. Check out the trailer for The Commuter below.
Regular Neeson-wrangler Jaume Collet-Serra directed this one, which sees the actor as a businessman travelling by train to work who unwittingly gets caught up in a criminal conspiracy that threatens not only his life, but that of those around him. Vera Farmiga is a mysterious woman who drags him into the whole affair, offering an enticing opportunity, but one that comes with some deadly downsides... Naturally you can expect phone action from Neeson and lots of running through carriages.
Writers Byron Willinger and Phil de Blasi cooked up the concept, and the cast also includes Patrick Wilson, Jonathan Banks, Sam Neill and Elizabeth McGovern. It'll arrive in UK cinemas on 19 January.
