While Mid90s might describe some of the temperatures the UK has been sweltering through this summer, it's also the title of Jonah Hill's directorial debut, which has released its first trailer.

Looking a little like Harmony Korine's Kids (but with the focus on skateboarding instead of sex), the film finds Steve (Sunny Suljic), a 13-year-old boy who is looking for an escape from his tough home life with abusive brother (Lucas Hedges).

He finds it in a group of skateboarders and discovers a whole new way of life – albeit one that means facing the danger of the streets.

The likes of Katherine Waterston, Jerrod Carmichael, Kasey Elise and Na-Kel Smith make up the cast for the film, which is scheduled for release in the US on 19 October doesn't yet have a date set for the UK.
