Possibly the ideal situation for mystery-loving producer J.J. Abrams, the latest part of the Cloverfield movie universe, The Cloverfield Paradox, has debuted a TV spot during this year's Super Bowl in the States that also serves as an announcement of the movie's arrival on Netflix.
The teaser also hints at the movie's connection to the wider Cloververse (we're claiming credit for that one), introducing a space station crew (which includes Daniel Brühl, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Chris O'Dowd, Elizabeth Debicki, David Oyelowo and Ziyi Zhang) who have a monster encounter of their own.
Julius Onah's film, formerly known as God Particle, was re-scripted to include links to the first Cloverfield, and the trailer promises some answers for where the creatures came from. Yet there's not much more than that, specifically because the film hit Netflix's services around the world after the game, and is already available as you read this. Welcome to the new world of movies...
