Ezra Miller Heads For Dali Land

A couple of weeks ago, the word arrived that Ben Kingsley would be playing iconic surrealist artist Salvador Dali in Dali Land. Now we know that there will be flashbacks to Dali's younger years, with the man brought to life by Ezra Miller.

American Psycho director Mary Harron is wrangling this one together, with a screenplay she wrote with John C Walsh. The film is set in New York and Spain in 1973, and is told through the eyes of James (Frank Dillane), a young gallery assistant helping Dali prepare for a big show. He's excited, and hoping to learn some of the secrets of great art from one of the most famous artists of all time, but is instead entangled in a world of parties, personal battles and an art world filled with money and intrigue.

Lesley Manville will be Dali's domineering wife and muse Gala, with Tim Roth as Captain Moore, his right hand man. Harron aims to have the cameras rolling later this year in Canada and Spain, with no release date on the books just yet.

Miller, last seen in Justice League, will return as Credence Barebone in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald (out 16 November), and remains attached to star in the standalone Flash movie, scheduled for 2020.
