Bad Neighbours director Nick Stoller has been hinting for a while about a TV series he's been developing alongside his wife and writing partner Francesca Delblanco for Netflix. Now we know that the likes of Keegan-Michael Key, Cobie Smulders, Annie Parisse, Nat Faxon, Fred Savage and Jae Suh Park will be starring in Friends From College.
The series focuses, as the title suggests, on a group of friends who went to Harvard together and are now into their forties. As their various fortunes complicate relationships both in and out of the group, they also must balance living adult lives with the pang of nostalgia for the past.
“Nick is a comedic mastermind. With Friends from College, he and Francesca have created a world that is both moving and very, very funny. We are thrilled to be working with them and this incredible cast, and look forward to audiences around the world laughing with and at these relatable characters,” says Netflix's Cindy Holland.
Eight episodes will make up the initial batch, and shooting should kick off this autumn in New York. Netflix's announcement makes no mention of when it'll hit our screens, but we'd expect it to arrive next year.
