Chris Morris is a man who likes to keep his cards close to his chest and not reveal what he's working on. But information has finally started to filter out about his next film as a director, which shot this summer. Thanks to the team at Chortle, we now know that Anna Kendrick, Kayvan Novak, James Adomian, Danielle Brooks, Denis O'Hare, Pej Vahdat, Marchant Davis and Mousa Kraish are all in the cast.
It's quite the eclectic cast for the writer/director and all-round troublemaker, with one returning Morris veteran in Novak, who appeared in Four Lions.
As for what the film is about? No one is saying yet, which makes sense given Morris' usual attitude to work in progress. It shot in Florida and the Dominican Republic (including Pinewood Studios' base there) and images have hit the web showing Kendrick sporting an FBI uniform and automatic weapon.
So we'll have to wait until Morris, his production company and Film4 are ready to reveal more. Regardless, knowing that there is more from the man ready to seep into our eye-sockets is a good thing.
