Original Title:

Sleep with Me

This glib but determinedly unromantic relationships comedy is far and away the wittiest of last year’s twenty and thritysomething love tangles. It divides its plot — revolving around Frank and Sarah and Joseph (Craig Sheffer, Meg Tilly and Eric Stoltz as two best friends and one wife) — over a year’s worth of social gatherings that range from realistically irksome to disastrous. Sparky performances from the leads, a happening ensemble of up-and-comers as their pals, and a hysterical cameo from Quentin Tarantino as a movie bore.

Sex comedy which remembers to be funny
