The body-swap sub-genre gets a new twist as Woody (Transamerica’s Kevin Zegers) and Nell (Just My Luck’s Samaire Armstrong), two teenage neighbours with a lifelong hatred of each other, wake up in each other’s bodies.
After getting used to new body parts and awful parents (Woody’s include Sharon Osbourne), the pair set out to ruin each other’s reputations — before, predictably, realising their long-simmering mutual attraction. The set-ups and situations — some scatological, many sexual — deny access to the ‘tweenie’ audience, but older teens will love it, thanks to a witty script and two gutsy performances.
