The shaggy dog flies again, but this time with none of the charm of the original film. Bastian Box returns through the pages of his book to save Fantasia from a nasty witch.
Bastian is played by an awful brat (Johnathan Brandis) — most kids will want to kick his whinny little ass rather than identify with him. George Miller directs, but gets carried away with the special effects, which don't come aywhere near close to hiding the sluggish plot.
An totally unneeded sequel which does nothing whatsoever for the legacy of the original tale.
