Following Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers, pop gerbil Justin Bieber gets his own 3D karaoke event, complete with 3D hair, 3D air-pulls and 3D baby photos crashing into your face. And why not? The so-close-you-can-touch-him format is the perfect medium for his army of unrequited Beliebers (“I think about him 99% of my life,” grizzles one fan). They're grasping at hot air, of course. This is pure popoganda, interspersing highlights of a Madison Square Garden gig with footage of Bieber's rise from talented YouTube musical prodigy to social-network superstar. Bright as a sweetwrapper, and equally as throwaway, eager tweens will chew it up but parents be warned: if, at any point, you start feeling nauseous half-way through, that’s not the 3D glasses – that’s just Justin Bieber.
