In this slight road rage thriller, Jim Caviezel is a mournful, self-righteous man on a mission and Rhona Mitra is a sexy chick thrown into the plot for, hey, who cares why?
Apparently not director Robert Harmon, who uses his brief running time to salivate over Duel-style chase scenes at the expense of characterisation and plot. Rennie (Caviezel) is bent on avenging the death of his wife at the hands of a serial killer who's been mowing down attractive women ever since. Molly (Mitra) is his next target, so Rennie uses her as bait with the eventual assistance of a traffic investigator, apparently the only in his field able to recognise a deliberate hit and run when he sees one.
