Haunted Mansion, The

Once upon a time, a theme park ride was - with the addition of some CGI ghosts and a big-name star - turned into a hugely successful Hollywood movie. The Haunted Mansion is not it.

Rather, we have Eddie Murphy jobbing his way through the same old schtick as an estate agent whose family gets trapped inside said ghost-infested property. Neither frightening nor funny, Rob Minkoff's yawn-inducing comedy-horror may share Pirates Of The Caribbean's basic premise, but isn't worthy to scrub the latter's galley floor.
