Original Title:

Fading Gigolo

A retired bookseller helps a part-time florist rejuvenate some neglected Brooklyn ladies in this sincere if enervatingly chauvinist dramedy that nails the mood of its locale (particularly its Jewish quarter) and is knowingly played by Woody Allen and John Turturro.

The premise is slightly bizarre but there's enough wink-and-a-nod charm in the performances to earn it a pass.
