Original Title:

Doug McClure Fantasy Adventure (1975-78), The

Doug McClure Triple-pack of The Land That Time Forgot, At The Earth's Core and Warlords Of Atlantis.

Doug McClure. You may remember him from such films as The Land That Time Forgot, At The Earth's Core and Warlords Of Atlantis - which form this triple-pack. The inspiration for The Simpsons' Troy McClure's eminent likeability made him the prime choice to lead the two Edgar Rice Burroughs adaptations, plus the Brian Hayles-penned journey to the lost water-world under the sea.

They're not exactly perfect paradigms of storytelling - the plotting and acting pack more ham than a sandwich factory as the heroes flee from dinosaurs, molten lava, giant squid etc. - but in these sub-Harryhausen critters, each adventure finds its perennial charm.
