A solidly entertaining, British, futuristic, techno-thriller in which psycho scientist Brad Douriff creates the ultimate fighting weapon, the eponymous Death Machine, in the basement of the Chaank corporations HQ, much to the chagrin of new boss Ely Pougeut and the group of pacifist freedom fighters whove come to raid the building. Derivative of everything from The Terminator to Hardware to RoboCop with the Death Machine itself a metal version of the Alien Queen from Aliens this belies its smallish budget with some frenzied editing, neat special effects and a excruitatingly loud thrash soundtrack.
