Eight LA media types have a dinner party on the night a comet passes by, and are weirdly isolated by a power cut. It transpires that several slightly alternative versions of the characters now coexist and are interacting, perhaps maliciously, with their counterparts, which exposes the group’s secrets and makes for disturbing opportunities.
A mix of quantum physics and dinner chat, this enclosed, well-acted indie drama from writer-director James Ward Byrkit rewards close attention as it slowly reveals what’s going on, and shows how some folks see miracles only as a way to pursue their worst instincts.
