Booty Call

This is what Carry On Camping would have looked like if Sid James and Babs Windsor had been born in the 'hood and allowed to say mother, er, lover.

It's a contagious, up-tempo sex farce following Tommy Davidson's frustrated efforts to get it on with Tamala Jones, and the one disastrous night he invites mouthy mate Jamie Foxx on a blind date with her girlfriend (Independence Day's Vivica A. Fox).

While Fox's Eddie Murphy-style mugging grates at times, it's mostly entertaining, and chaotic set pieces with a gay Chinese waiter and two sarky Sikh shopkeepers offer guilty amusement. A no-frills sex comedy; offering little quality but some laughs.

Amusing romp.
