Original Title:

Blankman

A bizarre comedy with gadget-mad geek Damon Wayans becoming a costumed crime fighter, armed only with home-made devices and blind luck, and dragging his long-suffering brother (David Alan Grier) along for the ride. Strong repartee and some great set pieces between Wayans and Grier — notably when the duo are dubbed Blankman and Other Guy — buoy this movie up. Although flawed in places, it’s hugely enjoyable overall.

Good fun, and nothing more.
