A concise summary of Barry Sonnenfeld's torturous low-budget movie, based on the novel by Dave Barry, is that it's a wacky comedy with a character-intertwined story similar to Two Days In The Valley, whose cinematic release was hampered by the terrorist attacks of 9/11 (due to the fact that there's a bit with a bomb on a plane).
Unfortunately, the script doesn't let a talent-heavy cast (including Tim Allen, Rene Russo, Tom Sizemore, Stanley Tucci, Johnny Knoxville, Jason Lee and Dennis Farina - the most memorable as a long-suffering hitman) give the movie anything even approaching a heart and soul.
